For the love, understanding, and protection of birds
Good to see a (small) positive step. It's going to be a long struggle against the cat freaks and an apathetic public.
The sad thing is that the misguided people who want to be humane toward cats don't realize that feral cats do not lead a quality existence. When I rescued my own feral cat, despite her having been spayed and, supposedly, treated by a vet before release, she was infested with several kinds of roundworms and tapeworms, and was emaciated.
Unfortunately they're also the most common roadkill where I live. :(
Thank goodness for this. I'm a owner of two wonderful, loving, funny indoor cats. I would never let them out - for their own health and safety as well as for that of other wildlife.
