For the love, understanding, and protection of birds
My husband and I had the great pleasure of meeting Laura on a trip to Ship Island, MS. We are volunteers for the National Parks and are looking for distressed and dead birds due to the oil spill. Laura lovingly came to our state on the hottest days (101 in the shade) we've had since we moved here 8 years ago and she took many photos and notes. I admire her so much for coming from Minnesota to this heat and humidity to gain info that I'm sure will help with this horrible oil disaster. I am now reading her book 101 Ways To Help Birds. I'm only 20 pages into it and I feel I have gained priceless information I will cherish and try to abide by. Great job and God Bless Laura.
